		<description>Kat, my thoughts exactly.  I approach Facebook in a similar way and my network there is much smaller than Twitter.  Google seems to be growing a bit as a networking platform, interesting to see what will happen.</description>

		<description>Lucy, I believe I read a blog post on ReadWriteWeb which indicated that it would be shut down, yes.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;However, I note that on the Yahoo Developer Network blog that it&#039;s only a possibility at this time.  So perhaps it won&#039;t be going away after all.  Might as well try it, if you want.</description>

I tried the TwitterCounter widget for a week, but since Google Friend Connect is inclusive of Twitter, it seemed like a more inclusive and flexible choice.</description>
