Different thoughts about thinking differently
Top ten things to do while Twitter is hosed

Given some of the problems we’ve all been experiencing with Twitter of late, I decided that some humor might be in order.  Here are the top ten things that Twitter addicts can do while they wait for service to be restored:

  1. Stare at the computer screen for signs of life
  2. Try Twitter every two minutes to see if it’s better
  3. Try Facebook in desperation
  4. Check out Friendfeed to see who is complaining about Twitter
  5. Stare at the screen some more
  6. Start watching a TV show instead of just listening to it in the background
  7. Think about cleaning… something. Anything
  8. Try to remember the last day you couldn’t use Twitter. In fact, try to remember your life before Twitter
  9. Have a face to face conversation
  10. Go back to the Twitter screen in desperation and mumble “Please God…” quietly to yourself.

awesome. do you intend these things to be done in steps? as in, try number 1, and if that fails, go to 2, etc. If so, it's especially funny that number 9 is so far down there …

Yes: step 1, then 2, then 3, and then…. you got it. :)
