Stellar post Mark, absolutely fantastic.

I think that we get lost in all the "whizz bang" methods and lose track of what is really important -- being awesome.

The reminder is refreshing.

As a parable that applies to me, this hits directly home. I'm no Superman, but I definitely believe that I have burned cycles trying many things that were not 'me'. Time to get back to basics!

I see your points, but at the same time he's still got a job to do and perhaps doing that job in a "super" manner is the most important marketing of all.

nice, although what if superman was an unknown? those channels *could* help him grow if only as a natural extension of his great job in the real world. certainly, that would have to be his focus - but the channels are great to spread ideas, esp for up-and-comers.

Actualy, Aditya, the point was really not the channels; the point was having Superman be himself and just focus on doing a good job. I debated having that point in there about having the third consultant promote what he was doing, but decided to keep it in. The point is to do good work and being the best.
