When I was a working journalist, I quickly learned to never, ever go into an interview with an agenda or firm expected outcome - I tended to push aside what didn&#039;t seem to &quot;fit&quot; with what I planned on putting into the finished product. It&#039;s a lesson I&#039;ve kept close all these yeas as an author and writer.
