Jeez, I only just now noticed your StumbleUpon message about this1 Sorry! All the old shows I loved as a kid are horrendously stupid, of course! Space: 1999, Ark II, Bigfoot and Wildboy, Isis, Wonder Woman, the Bionic Woman (sensing a theme, here) and the A-Team. I loved them, but man were they ever stupid!

Maybe that explains my current love for films like Resident Evil, anything sci-fi with Will Smith, Transformers, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Underworld, Blade, etc., etc.

Oh... and especially Hell Boy! (yo HB2 coming soon!)

@Kurt - the thing is, Space: 1999 did have some very good ideas and some interesting characters. I just don't feel that it was developed to its full potential and that the show did have some serious flaws. But I still love it and I always will. BTW, thanks for stopping by!

@Nick - thanks. And since we can't see you anyway, no one would have any idea in which to aim that derisory look. :)

I know just how it feels, Mark. I'm a BIG Doctor Who fan, and collect all the old series on dvd, yet I always have the feeling that others might think it strange. Still, the beauty of this largely faceless medium known as the internet means that I can indulge my passion and admit to such things without the spectre of a derisory look hanging around in the background. Good stuff!
