yup, writing about writing about blogging about how to about this or that is a dead horse, and the smell is starting to kill me. i closed my mixx account yesterday, even though i was a super mixxer. i saw some friends i haven't seen in years, and it was so good spending REAL time with REAL FRIENDS, i wanted to show myself not having trusty ol' mixx isn't that bad.

i'm hoping to start a blog soon, but it'll be industry specific and simple. and if someone reads it, good. if not, i shall not shed one tear.

Which is why we both probably need to move away from "writing about a medium."

But hey, if the general vibe I'm picking up across several blogs is any indication, we're in good company. You might find this post from him helpful.

@Kat - thanks. I've been a bit overwhelmed at how many people are out there writing about social media, including a lot of professionals/experts. After awhile, writing about a medium can get stale.

I am pretty much experiencing the same variety of navel-gazing lately. Typing up and deleting posts, and trying to figure out what I really have to offer an audience that they can't find from someone else.

Plus, like you, I'm an introvert and I get interaction-fatigue from too much socializing anywhere--social media included.

Hope you get through your "figuring out" phase okay, and that you find a direction that lets you shine. :)

We'll be here reading whenever you get it all worked out.
