I have come to trust the fact and figures from most bloggers above the local news paper and major media outlets. However , I do check up on my fellow blogosapiens from time to time.

If that word, blogosapiens turns up somewhere else remember you heard it here first.

@Fiar - unfortunately, I don’t think I can just ignore the news, nor do I think it will go away. I think it’s important to be informed about what’s happening locally, but it’s equally important to know what’s going on outside of my local area.

Great Article…This has been something I have been thinking about for a couple of years now. I read a lot of non-American news outlets to get news in America. I don’t always trust the news here. I also have a tendency to check one sources and then another just to get the facts. It sucks.

It will be interesting to see how the internet will influence journalism.
